Texas Dela Rosa was born and raised in West Texas. From early on he demonstrated a creative fashion sense.  At times, he actually started a few trends by dressing in his own unique style - probably more to the ire of the more conservative parents.  Always being one  step ahead in fashion, hair cuts, hair color, etc., he has a natural talent for what looks good on others and how to help people with their appearance and style. Since arriving in Austin, he has acquired a circle of friends and acquaintances who seek out his advice for make-up and hairstyling.  His motto is: "It's imperative to feel good in your own skin."  Doing make-up and making people feel great about their looks is  his passion. Graduating early from high school, he worked for a Real Estate Agency, and as a Loan Officer for a local Finance Company. Circa 2000, he left "Smalltown," USA to join the multitude of city life in Austin, Texas. He still resides in this city, rich with history, and with the distinction of being the state capital of Texas. One cannot begin to describe this city and all that it has to offer.  It has become a "Mecca" for celebrities to come and live, or visit. The fashion world is growing and Austin has its own unique style - "Bohemian" to most.  Suffice to say, those who live in or visit Austin never want to leave. He has helped with Austin's first Fashion week as a guest judge for one of its many events, and is always looking to better himself in the make-up/fashion market that Austin has to offer.

At present, he works as bartender in one of Austin's most popular clubs, Rain On 4th. When he isn't serving killer drinks, he is doing make-up for fashion shows or special events, as well as for his personal circle of friends.

In 2010, he did make-up for two music videos filmed in Austin - working with local Production crews. He has done make-up for the Austin Monthly Magazine since their 2011 June issue (been published in 15 issues), and has continued working with AM, to the present. (check out His make up skills range from their Covers, Trends, and in their Beauty & Style Section. He has also worked with local Graphics Companies within the city, and worked with The McComb's Business School, as well as The University of Texas Alumni Magazine, The Alcalde. He has worked with many local Austin Celebrities From Gary Clark Jr. to Bob Schneider, and even two time Gold Medal Olympian Garret Weber Gale. He worked on location on 2 music videos which were filmed here in Austin with local production companies.

He has worked on location for the Telemundo Television channel - doing make-up for one of its best correspondents, the vibrant and very talented "Crash" - for her interview with Robert Rodriguez for Spy Kids 3. He also does make up at many of Austin's Top Salons and works with numerous models from different modeling agencies such as Wilhelmina Brown, and The Campbell Agency, to name a few. He has worked with several visiting and local singers, and artists, for their performances and television appearances at Austin's Famous South by South West Festival. In addition, he has done make up for Austin's Fashion Weeks and many events around the city in the past years. He has also done make-up  for local businesses and charity events.

For the present and immediate future, he plans to continue expanding his make-up knowledge and other creative ventures in Austin and the surrounding areas. At this stage in his life, he is living his dream job and continues to ride the wave in this fascinating and exciting field.
